Reconciliation

“Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.” –  Ephesians 4:32

God’s merciful love is made present to us in the sacrament of Reconciliation. Through this sacrament, though sinful people, we can be reconciled with God and his church. After a careful examination of conscience and, with a serious commitment to correct the wrongdoing going forward, we approach Jesus (in the person of the priest), admit our failings and shortcomings, pray for forgiveness and receive absolution. It is important to receive this grace prior to receiving the Eucharist and to commit to actively working to living our faith in our daily lives.

Confessions are scheduled Wednesdays from 6pm to 6:45pm, Saturdays from 3:00p.m. to 3:45p.m., and by appointment. For more information please contact the rectory office at 603-882-4362.
