In order to prepare for Divine Mercy Sunday, Jesus gave to St. Faustina Kowalska a nine-day novena. The novena starts on Good Friday and is prayed every day of the Triduum and of Easter Week (See Diary #1209-1230).
Jesus Himself requests that each day of this novena, which He revealed to Saint Faustina, be devoted to prayers for a new group of people. The novena that follows was inspired by these personal revelations that Saint Faustina wrote in her Divine Mercy Diary.
